Advertising Terms & Conditions

These Advertising Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of advertising placements through Solve Local Mail and Connecticut Neighbors.

By purchasing an advertising placement, the advertiser agrees to the following terms.

1. Advertising Placement

Advertising placements are sold on a limited-availability basis for inclusion in Connecticut Neighbors oversized direct mail campaigns.

Placement location, layout, and overall postcard design are determined by Solve Local Mail at its discretion, although reasonable efforts will be made to provide fair and professional visibility for all advertisers.

2. Design Services

Professional ad design is included with each advertising placement.

Advertisers are responsible for providing:

  • accurate business information

  • logos

  • images

  • promotional offers

  • legally compliant advertising claims

Solve Local Mail reserves the right to refuse or modify content that:

  • violates laws or regulations

  • infringes intellectual property rights

  • contains misleading claims

  • includes offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material

3. Proof Approval

Advertisers will receive a final proof for approval before printing whenever reasonably possible.

Approval of the final proof constitutes acceptance of:

  • spelling

  • pricing

  • contact information

  • layout

  • promotional content

  • overall ad design

After final approval, no further changes are guaranteed.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment is required to reserve advertising placement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Advertising space is not guaranteed until payment is received.

Solve Local Mail reserves the right to cancel unpaid reservations.

5. Mailing & Distribution

Connecticut Neighbors mailings are distributed through USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) and related mailing services.

Distribution counts and delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to:

  • USPS operations

  • printing schedules

  • route adjustments

  • vendor delays

  • force majeure events

Solve Local Mail does not guarantee:

  • exact delivery dates

  • exact household counts

  • homeowner engagement levels

  • business results

6. Category Exclusivity

Solve Local Mail may limit competing advertisers within the same category when reasonably possible.

However, exclusivity is not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the published Refund Policy.

By purchasing advertising placement, the advertiser agrees to the Refund Policy currently posted on the website.

8. Limitation of Liability

Solve Local Mail and Connecticut Neighbors shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages

  • consequential damages

  • lost profits

  • business interruption

  • advertising performance outcomes

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the advertising placement.

9. Advertiser Responsibility

The advertiser represents and warrants that all submitted materials:

  • are accurate

  • comply with applicable laws

  • do not infringe third-party rights

  • are authorized for commercial use

The advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Solve Local Mail and Connecticut Neighbors from any claims arising from submitted advertising content.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Modifications

Solve Local Mail reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website.
